Sometime earlier this autumn Hereditary Princess Sophie visited the Gamander children's home in Schaan. Why we know it now? She talked about it in a little documentary. Founded for orphaned children in Liechtenstein with the help of Princess Gina, the Gamander children's home has been used since 1992 as a holiday home for children from Eastern Europe, especially Hungary and Romania, who live in poverty. The groups of children come to the Principality for three weeks and, as she tells in the video, Hereditary Princess Sophie always makes it a priority to visit the them.
