Today, Grand Duke Henri welcomed general Gaston Reinig, Chief of Defence of the Luxembourgish army, for an audience at the palais. It was time to bid farewell to the head of the armed forces who will become part of the permanent representation of the Grand Duchy to the United Nations in New York City on February 1st. A picture of the two gentlemen can be found on the website of the cour. The new Chief of Defence will be Colonel Mario Daubenfeld.
